Beginner Sewing Class: Pillowcase

Your class includes two hours of instructional time as well as the pattern for you to take home and continue making pillowcases to your heart’s content!

Supplies:

1 Yd of 44″ wide cotton

1/3 Yd of 44″ wide cotton

2 in. by 43″ of fabric, bias tape, or trim (Check your stash! We can help you adjust your pillowcase to accommodate your chosen trim)

Thread

Pins or sewing clips

Ruler or tape measure

Scissors or rotary cutter and cutting mat

Straight stitch presser foot

You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine or rent our class Bernina for $10 for the duration of the class.
