Refund policy
Donna’s Quilting Respite is committed to providing high quality quilting fabrics, kits, tools, and supplies. All merchandise is inspected and quality checked prior to sale. Due to the specialized nature of quilting products, the following policy is strictly enforced without exception.
By completing a purchase in store or online, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
All Sales Are Final
The following items are non refundable and non exchangeable:
• All quilt kits
• All fabric including yardage, fat quarters, pre-cuts, bundles, panels, and custom cuts
• All sale, clearance, and discounted merchandise
• Patterns, books, magazines, and printed materials
• Downloadable or digital products
• Special orders and custom orders
• Block of the Month programs
• Classes, events, retreats, and workshop fees
• Gift cards
Fabric is cut specifically to customer request and cannot be returned under any circumstance. Color variations due to screen settings, lighting, or dye lot differences are not considered defects.
Kits are complete curated products and are final sale once purchased. Missing pieces must be reported within 48 hours of purchase with original packaging intact.
Tools, Notions, and Equipment
Tools, notions, rulers, cutters, machines, and hardware are eligible for exchange only if defective due to a verified manufacturing fault.
• Claims must be made within 7 days of purchase
• Item must be unused and in original packaging
• Proof of purchase iis required
• Proof of defect may be required
• Items showing signs of use, wear, blade changes, assembly, or tampering will not qualify
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper storage, or user error are not considered defects.
Approved defects will result in a replacement of the same item. Refunds are not guaranteed and remain at management discretion.
Online Orders and Shipping
All shipping charges are non refundable.
Donna’s Quilting Respite is not responsible for:
• Carrier delays
• Lost or stolen packages marked as delivered
• Damage caused during transit once accepted by the carrier
Customers must contact the shipping carrier directly for delivery disputes.
Incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout are the responsibility of the customer. Orders returned due to address errors may require additional shipping fees to resend.
Dye Lots and Color Variations
Quilting fabric is subject to dye lot variations. We cannot guarantee exact color matches between separate purchases. Slight variations in tone, scale, or print placement are normal and not grounds for return.
Customers are responsible for purchasing sufficient yardage for their project at one time.
No Returns Accepted For
• Buyer’s remorse
• Incorrect yardage purchased
• Project changes or cancellations
• Failure to read product descriptions
• Class cancellations outside posted deadlines
• Damage after purchase
• Improper washing or care
• Opened patterns or books
• Items purchased more than 7 days prior
• Seasonal or holiday merchandise after the season has passed
Class and Event Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we are happy to accommodate cancellations when possible. If you need to cancel your class registration, we will gladly issue a full refund when notice is provided at least 7 days prior to the scheduled class date.
If cancellation is made less than 7 days before the class, we will issue the class fee as store credit, which you are welcome to use to shop at the store.
We appreciate your understanding and respect for the time, preparation, and limited seating involved in each class.
Chargebacks and Disputes
Fraudulent chargebacks or disputes for valid purchases will be documented and pursued. We reserve the right to refuse future service to customers who attempt to bypass this policy through payment disputes.
Right to Refuse Service
Donna’s Quilting Respite reserves the right to refuse returns, exchanges, or service at management discretion if policy conditions are not met.
