This compact, functional bag is perfect for storing sewing tools, cosmetics, travel essentials, crafting supplies, tech cables, and more. In this one-day sewing class, you’ll learn how to work with ByAnnie materials, install zippers with confidence, construct mesh pockets, handle Soft & Stable foam, and create a professional-quality organizer bag from start to finish.This is a hands-on, beginner-friendly project with lots of great techniques you can use for future ByAnnie bags and travel projects.

Class Details

📍 Location: Donna’s Quilting Respite (3008 Barron Rd, College Station, TX 77845)

📅 Schedule: Classes available by request – flexible to fit your calendar

⏰ Duration: One-Day Class (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

👥 Skill Level: Beginner–Intermediate (no prior experience required)

💲 Cost: $120 USD (Includes Donna’s professional instruction only; bring your own materials and tools or purchase from our store.)

    • How to read & follow a ByAnnie sewing pattern

    • How to work with Soft & Stable for a structured, professional finish

    • How to install multiple zippers with ease

    • How to sew mesh pockets and finish them cleanly


    How to apply fold-over elastic


    How to bind raw edges for a polished interior


    How to box corners and stabilize layers


    How to assemble a functional organizer pouch

    • Soft and Stable — 18" x 58"

    • 24" handbag zipper

    • 12" zipper

    • Mesh fabric (optional)

    • Fold-over elastic (optional)

    4. Hardware & Straps


    • 1" strap webbing — 2 yards (or per pattern)

    • 1" hardware set (slider, rectangle rings, swivel hooks if pattern calls for it)

    5. Thread & Notions


    • Coordinating thread

    • Wonder Clips

    • Seam ripper

    • Fabric marker or chalk

    • Scissors or rotary cutter

    • Cutting mat

    • Ruler (6" x 24" recommended)

    6. Sewing Machine
